In an effort to better to connect with its consumers, adidas is gearing up to launch an all new app in 2016. But before you get too excited, you should take note that this initiative is meant specifically for India.
In a report from the Business-Standard, adidas plans to integrate 200 of its 750 stores with a mobile app that allows its retail locations to link with consumers online. According to senior e-commerce director of adidas India, Abhishek La, "the app would help customers look through our whole collection. customers can either order online (an item) and get it delivered at their homes or visit a nearest Adidas or Reebok store and purchase it from there. If a customer orders online, the nearest franchise that has the product can pick the product and deliver it."
