Nike Is Turning a Pair of LeBrons Into Air Max 95s

Different worlds.

Running and basketball sneakers often find themselves on opposite ends of the athletic footwear spectrum, especially with those who prefer one of the styles over the other. But Nike has decided to merge both looks for what could potentially be the final LeBron 12, as the 13 is soon to release. The result is a pair of LeBron 12 Lows that look decidedly like the Air Max 95.

Even more interesting, Nike took inspiration from the "Safety Orange" 95 and applied it to the low-cut LeBron sneaker. It's a look that could merge these different worlds, and be an oddball sneaker for collectors in years to come.

Expect these sneakers to release on Friday, Oct. 9, at retailers such as Foot Locker.
