As a baskeball phenom out of Chicago's Farragut Academy, Kevin Garnett became the first high school player in 20 years to get drafted into the NBA right out of high school. Starring for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Garnett's rare combination of size and athleticism would lead him to stardom and a sneaker deal with Nike. Fast forward to the present and though KG is on the tail end of his hall of fame career and he's long since parted ways with Nike, one of his signature models from the Swoosh is making its way back to retail.

The Nike Air Garnett 3, which is officially called the Nike Air 3 now, is back and basketball fans who grew up idolizing KG have another opportunity to score what arguably is his most recognizable silhouette. Featuring the shoe's distinct blue gradient mesh upper, this retro seems to do the original justice which diehard sneakerheads should appreciate. While a U.S. release date has yet to be announced, these can be had right now via U.K. retailer size? for approximately $170 after conversion.
