Footy fans are going to love what Aberdeen, UK-based sneaker store Hanon has cooked up with Diadora.

Taking on the B.Elite silhouette, this collaboration harks back to the Aberdeen Football Club of the 1980s. More specifically, this "The Spirit of '83" sneaker pays homage to Aberdeen F.C.'s landmark year in 1983 when the team managed to slip past powerhouses like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to capture the European Cup Winner's Cup, a first for the club.

Now, flashing forward to 2015, Hanon and Diadora present this Made in Italy B.Elite that has been adorned in the team's winning colors. The upper uses a heavy dose of what Hanon calls "Aberdeen fire-red," while white accents keep this from being a completely tonal affair. Elsewhere, details include a pinstripe liner and "83" embroidery at the heel.

But Hanon didn't stop there. It worked side-by-side with Diadora in the brand's Caerano Di San Marco factory to ensure that this sneaker is just as premium as Diadora's soccer boots of the '80s. The upper is composed of a soft suede, while a laminated kangaroo leather tongue and double-stitching take this collab to the next level.

For the release, Hanon has announced that a majority of the sneakers will be sold exclusively in Europe, while a "small amount" will find their way to select stockists in the U.S. and Japan. They're dropping on Saturday, October 10.
