Coach John Calipari is a living legend in the basketball world. Having coached at the NCAA and NBA level, his accomplishments include helping develop a number of professional players and winning multiple NCAA championships. He added another accomplishment to that list when he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame earlier this month. To celebrate this honor, his son Brad Calipari had a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1s made as a gift for his father.
Brad teamed up with True Blue Customs to execute this pair to perfection. Starting with a white Air Force 1 mid as the base, they then added an all-over net print, logos of the teams Calipari has coached, and a portrait of him. As expected, Coach Calipari loved the gift and now has it proudly displayed in a clear case.
A quick scan of Brad's Twitter account shows that he is definitely a sneakerhead and now his dad has one of the most personalized customs ever.
