Y-3's latest silhouette, the Hayworth Guard, is bound to have sneakerheads curious about where its design came from. Considering the shoe's height, material makeup, and general aesthetic, you can't help but wonder if the Kobe 9 served as the shoe's main inspiration. The sneaker looks like something NikeLab would've done last year. Officially, the shoe is part of Y-3's Fall 2015 collection with insight having come from the Royal Air Force.
Whatever the case, the Hayworth Guard is starting to hit retailers including Berlin's No74 and carries a retail price of $560.
