Fake sneakers are never a good look for anyone involved, but selling fakes on the same day you get released from jail for the same thing? That's just asking for problems, fam.

41-year-old Nazakat Hussain of England learned this the hard way after being busted for the same offense twice, Express & Star reports. Police allege that he and his partner, 32-year-old Ali Asghar, had stashed as much as £25,000 ($38,431 USD) in counterfeit Nike, adidas, and Timberland footwear, as well as products from Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and Lacoste in the back of a van driven by Hussain.

Along with the fugazi goods recovered from the vehicle, cops tracked a set of keys to a storage unit rented by Hussain that contained an extra £490,000 — a whopping $753,130 USD — in counterfeit merchandise. Now, Hussain and Asghar will spend three-and-a-half years in prison.

It gets worse. Apparently, Hussain was caught on the same day he had been released for the same offense. According to police, Hussain's first operation saturated the streets of London with £1 million worth of fake product, of which he was forced to pay back £250,000. What part of the game is this?
