Born x Raised is an upcoming West Coast streetwear brand that takes influence from Los Angeles street culture and flips it in a way that connects with the O.G. crowd and those who just want a nice graphic T-shirt. The brand just received its first sneaker collaboration, and it's with Reebok on the Classic Leather.

For its first project, Born x Raised has produced three different colorways of the Classic, all in simple colorways — navy and brown, white and brown, and black and grey — and given them a gumsole that has the brand's logo underneath.

On the surface, these sneakers will connect with anyone who wants something wearable with a differentiated touch. But this collab goes deeper than just that. The Classic Leather has always been a tough-man's shoe. In the UK it's associated with criminals, and Born x Raised represents elements of L.A.'s gang culture. It's a great match between the two brands.

As for release date information, Sneakers.fr is reporting that these three sneakers will come out on September 1. The price is set at roughly $140.
