Considered to be amongst the best collaborations in the game, J.Crew and New Balance are back with another banger for the summer season.

Drawing inspiration from New York City's rich baseball history and the historic ballparks its teams played in, fans will be going nuts over their latest 998 collab which they've dubbed "Hilltop Blues." The name is presumably drawn from "Hilltop Park," a baseball field in Washington Heights that the New York Highlanders —  known now as the world famous New York Yankees — once called home in the early 1900s.

Dressed up in mixed material upper of suede and mesh while making use of a colorful, yet understated, earth toned story, these 998s will certainly be high on the list for both J.Crew fans and New Balance aficionados. If recent collaborations between the two parties are any indication, this latest release could prove difficult to get.

If you plan on copping, make sure you're on your "A" game as these are slated to drop on Monday, June 15 at select J.Crew locations and its online shop. Retail is set at $170.
