If you've got the cash on hand, Hender Scheme's reinterpretations of definitive silhouettes are some of the best sneakers money can buy. Not only are the handmade sneakers built with the highest quality materials, but they can be restored and re-soled by a cobbler, extending their lifespan considerably.

For the Japanese brand's latest venture, it takes on the innovative Nike Air Presto silhouette. Originally released as part of Nike's forward-thinking Alpha Project in 2000, this sock-like silo has since garnered a cult following, although it's never seen a release quite as premium as these.

Like Hender Scheme's other homage sneakers, these are composed of natural leather that will age and patina with wear. They were previewed today on Eyescream as part of the brand's Fall/Winter 2015 collection, although a price point and model name (or number in this case) have yet to be revealed — it's likely that these, according to prior Hender Scheme releases, will be priced at around $1,000.
