If your phone's been off today, here's something major you missed out on: adidas launched the Yeezy Boost 350 on the Confirmed app and it was met with mixed, but generally negative, reviews.

There were some people who were able to get through and reserve their pairs, though, and some did so in dubious fashion, placing the sneakers into their cart via backdoor operations. This practice is extremely frowned upon not only by the greater community of sneaker collectors, but also by the brands themselves. Adidas had this happen to its brand today, and, surprisingly, it reacted in a calm manner.

In a tweet posted by @jeremylawrence, he said, "At least they were nice about it," in reference to adidas catching him backdooring the sneakers. "Nike would have said fuck you never order from us again you're banned for life."

He then attached an email sent to him by the adidas online shop team which read:

This may by the coolest-headed way to approach such a situation, but adidas is trying to win fans over to its Three Stripes and Kanye's latest sneaker figures to be a huge part of that equation. Luckily, too much more of this won't happen with the Yeezy Boost 350s as most retailers are raffling off its stock.
