Before the "Watch the Throne" colorway inspiration made its way to the recently released Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 8, the super exclusive colorway was reserved for LeBron and only his closest friends starting with the LeBron 9.
The combination of the story behind the sneaker, the colorway, and the fact that no one could actually get a pair, unless of course, you were Jay Z, elevated the colorway to iconic status in sneaker culture.
Taking the "Watch the Throne" inspiration as the base for his newest project, cutomizer-to-the-stars, Mache, flipped the Nike Kyrie 1 to feature the "WTT" palette. Similar to the original LeBron 9, the "Watch the Throne" Kyrie 1 features a black base with a metallic gold Swoosh, metallic gold accents, a multi-colored lining, and multi-colored laces.
Unfortunately, the similarities don't end there as you won't be able to get your hands on a pair of these either.
