In 2002, 11 years after the Air Jordan VI got its official debut, Air Jordan released a few low top versions of the shoe. Included in that footwear trilogy was a black suede model, outfitted with chrome detailing. And this year, at the end of August, the Air Jordan VI Low Black/Chrome is set to rerelease.

With an entirely black upper made out of a material that appears to be something between a suede and a nubuck, the sneaker gets its chrome on the tongue’s Jumpman logo, the heel loop, the lacelock, and hits on the midsole. The rest of the midsole matches the black upper, contrasting an outsole that is icy blue.

Jordan Brand hasn’t divulged an official release date yet, but we do know it will be towards the end of August. Keep an eye out for developments.
