As King James and the Cleveland Cavaliers assemble for the 2014-15 postseason, Nike Basketball has once again upgraded his signature sneaker for playoff prowess.
The most noticeable update from the standard Nike LeBron 12 is the lack of a Hyperposite shell on the upper. For the LeBron 12 Elite, it's been replaced with molded vertical wings to hold the King in place during explosive takeoffs.
The mesh-based Megafuse returns, as does the hexagonal Zoom Air cushioning underfoot. Elsewhere, aesthetic changes are made including a new insole, tongue design, and lace lock.
Get a close up at the Nike LeBon 12 "Team" below and look for it to launch alongside the Kobe X Elite and KD7 Elite on April 17.
