Adidas was poised to conquer the streets last year. Of course, it did just that with bold reinterpretations of running classics from its archives and the introduction of Boost — the brand’s latest cushioning technology that’s as comfortable as it is light.
Riffing off the original ZX 8000 (with design cues taken from the ZX Flux and Tubular), these remixed versions come in supple suede and bright neoprene colors, and feature removable booties with Boost insoles that reveal themselves through transparent heels. The reason adidas has been killing it lately has never been (literally) clearer.
Look for the ZX 8000 Boost to hit stores April 11 with a retail price of $150.
