Ever since the adidas Boston Super released in 1984 to coincide with the Boston Marathon, the Boston Super lineage has leaned towards performance over lifestyle, but the Three Stripes' latest venture could very well change the way 'heads see this vintage runner.
Known as the adidas Boston Super CC, this new take on an old classic lifts design cues from the O.G. silhouette while adding a modernized twist. The entire upper has been redesigned, foregoing the suede and leathers of the originals in favor a breathable mesh and neoprene base. Down low, midsole remains largely unchanged, carrying over the 1984 tooling and details.
With a breezy upper that's perfectly suited for the impending summer heat, this "Black/Royal" colorway of the Boston Super CC is now available from spots like Undefeated for $100.
