2014 was the year of the adidas Stan Smith, but don't write it off as a thing of the past just yet.
Legendary streetwear designer Nigo is back with another adidas Originals collaboration, and the Stan Smith is at the forefront. The most obvious change from the O.G. Stan Smith silhouette is the addition of velcro strap closures in place of traditional laces, while a glossy leather heel tab and vintage midsoles complete the look. In a climate of overbranding, this sort of understated collaborative effort is a welcome change.
