Michael Jordan's rise to basketball fame started with a game-winning shot against Georgetown to clinch the 1982 NCAA Championship for UNC. It's this rich history and rivalry that drives the latest Air Jordan XI Low colorway due out next month.
The low-profile Jordans are outfitted in a light grey ballistic nylon with deep blue accents working on the patent leather mudguard and inner-lining. Considering Georgetown's program is officially sponsored by Jordan Brand, this isn't exactly the first instance we've seen Js decked out in the Hoyas' team colors.
But now, 'heads can finally get a shot at a pair of sneakers that aren't Player Exclusives to the squad. Look out for a release come April 11 through Jordan Brand stockists, like Finish Line.
