Nike has introduced a new service that changes the shopping experience for customers.

Available now through nearly all Nike locations in the US, Nike.com Assist gives retail store customers the ability to shop for in-store product and online merchandise in one streamlined transaction.

If you're unable to find a size for a pair of sneakers at your local Nike shop, or simply want to mix and match products from Nike's offline and online inventory, the Nike.com Assist service will come through in the clutch for in-store customers.

While many retailers already offer a similar service, Nike says the difference with Nike.com Assist is that the program "lets Nike consumers buy in-store product and Nike.com product in a single, mobile transaction."

The news of Nike.com Assist comes just days after adidas unveiled Confirmed, a new app that aims to simplify buying limited sneakers in-store.

UPDATE 2/6: An earlier version of this article stated that Nike.com Assist is available through select Nike locations. A Nike representative has informed Complex that the service is available in "nearly all of [the] Nike Store and Nike Factory Stores in the US."
