The endgame for any one with a love for sneakers is to design their own pair. Whether it be via a customization, collaboration, or getting to create an all-new silhouette from scratch, the idea of putting one's own touch to a pair of sneakers is something we all dream about. With nearly every brand offering options to make one- of-one make-ups, it's increasingly becoming a reality. But it takes a little more to design sneakers for an actual company, and one as large and storied as adidas.

To help people achieve their goal of becoming a designer, we spoke to Andy Shearer, Senior Design Recruiter at adidas, and he gave us a top to bottom scoop on what it takes to join the Three Stripes as an intern this summer.

Who knows, you might become the next Kanye West.
