When it comes to adidas' performance technologies, it seems that Boost cushioning gets most of the headlines. Lost in the shuffle of all the hullabaloo over Boost, is adidas other revolutionary tech: Primeknit.

Primeknit, adidas' version of a knitted upper, has been heavily skewed towards running in its early going. That's why it makes total sense that adidas would introduce reflective material to its cutting-edge tech-filed running shoe. For each Primeknit Boost shoe, adidas employed 1,267 meters, or about 4,156 feet, of reflective yarn. To celebrate this significant number, adidas is releasing just 1,267 of the reflective Primeknit Boost on its initial launch date later this month. From what we can see, the Primeknit Boost features reflective material on the three stripes, tongue and heel.
