Kobe Bryant's ultra high ninth signature sneaker is next up to receive Nike's unmistakable "What the" treatment.
Speculation over the possible colorway erupted earlier in the week when leaked images of a never-before-seen Kobe 9 surfaced. Today, Nike unveiled the colorful mashup, which is in fact identical to the sneakers from the earlier report.
True to the entire "What the" series, the knitted basketball sneaker is an amalgamation of the Kobe 9's past iterations, including the "Influence" and "Gold Collection." The result is a crazy multicolor Flyknit creation, which is sure to make 'heads thirsty.
You'll have your chance to cop next month, January 10, on Nike Store and through select Nike Basketball retailers.
