With each Kobe X leak we get, the arrival of Mamba's next signature sneaker is getting closer and closer. With the "What the Kobe" likely being the final colorway for the Kobe 9 Elite, the EM is getting a proper sendoff in the form of the "Silk" colorway.
The Kobe 9 EM "Silk" celebrates Bryant's influence on the global game of basketball. The upper's silk graphic features designs linking Bryant to several different cultures around the world, such as oriental colors and Dunhuang murals. There is also a serpentine pattern on display throughout the shoe which is obviously a reference to Kobe's "Black Mamba" moniker.
