Since 2008 there's been a tradition of an Air Jordan XI coming out near Christmas. It usually causes a maelstrom of shit at malls and sneaker spots, and everyone goes insane trying to get themselves a pair. This year, likely, will be no different. The "Legend Blue" Air Jordan XI, a virtual retro of the "Columbia" version, is slated to release on December 20, and you better expect that it's going to cause a scene.

Luckily, however, we already got a pair of these joints here at the Complex office. This not only means that we're going to miss out on the disaster that will be release day, but we're also able to give you an up close look at the sneakers before they come out.

The sole on these Js has a blueish hue and an all-leather upper. Retail is set at $200, and, most importantly, they look clean. To get a better view of the product before you part with your hard-earned cash, take a look at the photos above and below. Good luck and stay safe.

All photos by Andy Hur. You can follow him on Twitter here. Thanks to Dan Resnick for supplying the sneakers.
