Air Jordan II "Quilted"

It looks like the Air Jordan II might be going back to its luxury roots next year. The sneakers, which were actually made in Italy back in 1986, just surfaced in a brand new iteration that appears to sport elements typically associated with high-end footwear.

Decked out in a monochromatic blue upper, the leather IIs are complete with quilted detailing that wraps around the ankle and goes from the side of the mid-foot to the toe box. Hits of suede take over the tongue and quarter panel, while a smooth leather works along the toe. The sneaker is finished off with what appears to be gold lace tips and matching Nike branding at the heel. Super luxe.

No official word yet on a release date, but the rumor is that the sneakers will release as part of Jordan Brand's 30th anniversary next year.
