Non Retro Air Jordans don’t get a lot of play, mostly for good reasons. The retros pull on our heartstrings, reminding us of the successes of our favorite players, or the nostalgia of childhood. They’re classic colorways that are easy to style, and they come built in with respect.
But maybe this non retro will break the mold.
Sitting on a gum sole, the Air Jordan 1 Black / Black-gum light brown features an all over black upper with that most classic outsole. The upper is both smooth and textured synthetic, with a nylon tongue and laces.
These are set to drop in Europe on December 6.
