This year, adidas hasn’t been all about the new silhouettes. Sure the ZX Flux, S Loop, and Tubular are all runaway new hits, but we’ve also seen some classics return. The Stan Smith came back with a vengeance, and now we’re going to be able to grab another pair from many years past.
The adidas Forum is a basketball shoe of the old tradition. High, bright white, a little chunky, and all classic style. The silhouette offers that iconic perforated leather toe with a wide toe wrap and wide tongue. There’s even a Velcro strap to really bring the retro. Technically the Forum never left us, but that doesn’t mean this latest reboot isn’t the perfect chance to grab a piece of history.
Pairs of the adidas Forum Mid should be popping up all over the place pretty soon, like at Titolo in Europe. But stay tuned, they’ll get closer.
