After shifting its attention to the Kobe 9 EM and Kobe 9 Elite Low for most of the summer, the Swoosh is back to releasing new colorways of the high-topped version of Bryant's ninth signature sneaker.

Just a few days after seeing the "Victory" colorway of the Kobe 9 Elite, we now get a look at the "Brave Blue" edition. The "Brave Blue" strays away from the usual loud patterns of the Kobe 9, in favor of a more subtle look. With a blue flyknit upper and black midsole it may very well be the most basic Kobe 9 we've seen to date. Being that the Lakers are purple and gold, we doubt that we will see Kobe rock these on court. Unless of course, they bring back the blue throwbacks from the 60's.

Check out more images of the Kobe 9 Elite "Brave Blue" below and look for them to drop on October 18 for $225.
