Concepts continues its strong 2014 collaboration campaign with a snaked out version of the iconic adidas Originals Stan Smith.
From an initial glimpse, one might assume that a snakeskin leather upper was utilized. You'd be wrong in that assumption. Concepts went next level and created the snakeskin pattern using adidas' version of engineered mesh making clever use of the materials' texture. Additionally, a cork insole is incorporated along with a neoprene sock liner to make this Stan Smith unlike any other Stan Smith before it. To top off everything though, Concepts gives a nod to the legacy of the SS with traditional green hits on the heel and on the tongue. Concepts' collaborations have been instant hits with fans and this upcoming adidas project could be the most sought after yet.
