The Nike LeBron 12 and the KD7 may get all the sneaker headlines, but one of the more underrated signature sneaker storylines heading into the NBA season is the addition of adidas' Boost technology to the D Rose 5.

In last night's preseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Rose gave his signature sneakers a ringing endorsement when he took an outlet pass from center Joakim Noah and proceeded to run right trough Milwaukee's defense. adidas' energy-returning technology lived up to its "Boost" nickname, as it appeared that Rose had an extra spring in his step in precisely carving through the Bucks defenders. Whether you believe it's the shoes or not, you have to be happy if you are a Bulls fan, as D Rose is showing off his trademark explosiveness that made him an MVP at just 22 years old.

Check out Rose's explosive play below and pick up a pair of the adidas D Rose 5 Boost when they hit shelves on October 23.
