Ohio's native son made his return home official last night as LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers made their season debut against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks at a sold out Quicken Loans Arena.

The evening got off to a memorable start with roaring player introductions and the much anticipated and James' trademark chalk toss which sent the crowd into a state of frenzy. However, the rest of the evening was a disappointment as James and the Cavs struggled falling to the Knicks 95-90. For sneakerheads, all eyes were on James' feet as he debuted two pairs of "Home" court PEs of his latest Nike signature model, the Nike LeBron 12. Both pairs featured "Navy" base color blocking with the first half pair using  "University Gold" as the main accent while the second half pair featured "Team Red." While acquiring a pair of these PEs could be extremely difficult for the average collector, fans can cop close renditions of each via the NikeiD LeBron 12 option.
