What started in Team USA training camp this past summer continued through the NBA preseason, as Derrick Rose has done nothing but impress during his quest to regain his MVP form.
Rose's shoe of choice throughout his comeback bid has been the Boost-enabled adidas D Rose 5. After seeing the shoe featured in highlight after highlight, fans were finally able to get their hands on a pair when they hit shelves this past Thursday. Over the weekend, Rose hit up Foot Locker in Chicago to introduce his latest signature shoe to local kids from the After School Matters organization. After holding a Q&A session in which he discussed striving to reach your dreams, Rose donated pairs of the D Rose 5 along with other D Rose apparel to the youngsters. Luckily for us, Rose took to his Facebook page today to upload a video thanking his fans and recapping the event.
