One of the NBA's rising stars is getting his own signature sneaker very soon.
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard took to Instagram this morning to preview his first adidas signature sneaker, the D Lillard 1. The low-profile model, shown in a black/red color scheme, appears to sport a perforated toebox and side panel, textured detailing along the toe, an innersleeve, and, of course, BOOST foam technology on the outsole. There's also branding that reads "Dame" on the innersleeve and a stylized letter "D" (which could even double as an "O" for Lillard's hometown Oakland) at the heel.
No exact release date has been set, but the sneakers will release in 2015, according to Lillard.
