Derrick Rose's return is upon us, as the Bulls point guard looks to return to MVP form following a few seasons cut short by injuries. Rose and adidas recently debuted the D Rose 5 Boost, and today we get a detailed look at the next colorway set to drop.
Illinois is one of the Great Lakes states, so adidas looked to pay homage one of Chicago's premier landmarks and drew inspiration from Lake Michigan for the latest D Rose 5 Boost colorway. The shoes feature a metallic teal synthetic tumbled leather upper giving players optimal durability and feel. The upper is accented with vivid mint Fit Cage and retooled the D Rose logo on the tongue to capture the essence of Lake Michigan. The D Rose 5 is the first adidas basketball shoe to feature a full length Boost cushioning to give players the maximum energy return, and provide the step-in comfort to ensure performance on an MVP caliber level.
