With all the talk of gold yesterday, namely the upcoming Ronnie Fieg x adidas Originals collab and the "Metallic Gold" Air Jordan XIs, Fat Joe stole the spotlight as he rocked a true grail.

Fat Joe brought out an old-school gem as he rocked a pair of Air Jordan IX "White/Gold" Marshall Faulk PEs from 2002. If you're not a football fan, you might not be familiar with Faulk. Faulk was considered one of the premier running backs during his day and was a member of the vaunted St. Louis Rams' that earned the nickname "The Greatest Show on Turf." If you recall, a pair of these were on eBay a few months ago for an astounding $12,000. Considering how pristine these look, could these have been the pair up for auction? With Fat Joe's well documented love of sneakers, chances are good that he had his own pair on ice all these years.  Respect to Joe for bringing out some real heat.
