If you thought your wallet was going to be safe this fall season, think again.

Just yesterday, Nike unveiled the Zoom Hypercross Trainer, the latest training shoe from the Swoosh that features an all new Zoom Air unit to aid in performance during workouts. While Nike only unveiled one colorway at the launch, it didn't take long for them to roll out five additional colorways for the early October release.

The Zoom Hypercross Trainer features the new Zoom Air cushioning unit, similar to the one we saw on the LeBron 12, and the women's Zoom Fit Agility. The new system enhances the Zoom Air you've grown to love, by introducing hexagonal air pods on the outsole to deliver a fast, responsive feel. The technology also brings you closer to the ground, which in turn leads to a more stable feel, which is key during high-intensity workouts. Nike kept many of the same designs as previous trainers including a lightweight mesh upper for breathability, and Flywire cables for a more secure, lock down feel.

The first colorway we saw was in the standard performance volt colorway Nike's been so keen on recently. The other five come in whole mix of colorways and looks, from flashy to standard black, so you can train in comfort while maintaining those style points everyone looks for at the gym.

Check out all the additional colorways, and grab your pair of the Zoom Hypercross Trainer when they drop October 10 at the Nike Store.
