This year could be a make or break for Derrick Rose and the Bulls. We've been well aware of his injury problems over the past few years, but for the first time since 2009, it appears D Rose is healthy and can return to MVP form. While he's trying to get back to the D Rose of old, he will be laced up in the Boost enabled D Rose 5, and yesterday we got a sneak peek at a hometown colorway.
At the Bull's media day yesterday, Derrick brought out the adidas D Rose 5 in a very hometown Chicago look. The shoes have not officially been dubbed a "home" look, but they come in a grey base with traditional white, red, and black accents and hits throughout the shoes. Just yesterday we saw adidas debut the first signature shoe for John Wall, so it's clear the Three Stripes is looking to capitalize on the up and coming point guards of the NBA to battle the Swoosh's lineup.
