Much of the news surrounding Notre Dame recently has been overly negative following a report of academic fraud that involves four members of the football team. While investigations continue, Notre Dame is looking towards the future as Under Armour just unveiled the "Shamrock Series" uniforms for the 2014-15 season, and as the the old saying goes "the show must go on".

Back in January of this year, Notre Dame switched over to Under Armour as their official sponsor after a 17 year run with adidas. For the upcoming football season, Under Armour debuts the "Shamrock Series" uniforms, that maintain the traditional look the Fighting Irish is used to, but includes top level materials and design cues from the brand. The home jersey comes in the classic Notre Dame blue with gold shoulders and an angled gold stripe above the knees. The away jersey stays true as well with an all white look, complimented by the traditional gold pants. Each jersey features Notre Dames university motto “God, Country, Notre Dame,” embroidered along the hem.

For a more daring look, Under Armour outfitted Notre Dame with an alternate jersey with designs drawn from the university’s iconic Golden Dome building. The uniforms feature a gold helmet with a specialized pattern which aims to replicate texture of the actual dome, and a mosaic tile pattern inside the building inspired the pattern seen on the gloves and base layer.

To finish off the "Shamrock Series" Under Armour hooked Notre Dame up with an all gold pair of the UA Highlight MC Cleat, which feature their prized technology, ClutchFit, that acts like a second skin giving athletes the highest level of support and feel.

Check out Notre Dame in their new "Shamrock Series" uniforms when they kick off the football season against Purdue, September 13.
