From the looks of it, the OKC Thunder's Russell Westbrook kicked off the holiday weekend by attending an "all-white" party with his parents.
While that sounds normal enough, his footwear for the event was quite special. On Westbrook's feet was a pair of unreleased Air Jordan I Retro Highs featuring a "Metallic Gold" upper. If you recall, Jordan Brand released a "White/Metallic Gold" version of the Air Jordan I Phat back in 2012. These, however, are a bit more stuntastic. Usher currently holds the title as "King of Gold Jordans," but Westbrook could be making a run for his crown. No information is available yet on whether or not these are releasing. Stay tuned.
