In anticipation of the Air Jordan XX9, available September 6, Complex News was invited to test out the forthcoming sneaker at Terminal 23 in Manhattan. The shoe comes in two styles: one features a large Jumpman logo, while the other has an elephant print motif. And, while we didn't send the world's greatest athlete to the event, the XX9 vaunts performance features like a re-engineered FlightPlate (similar to the XX8) as well as a tendril between the forefoot and heel to help—in theory—with a player's explosiveness through the lane.
The Air Jordan XX9 will be available September 6 for $225. To see the shoe in action, check out the video above.
