The Air Jordan VI continues its reign as the retro sneaker of the year.
This weekend, Jordan Brand is set to release an all-new iteration of MJ's sixth signature sneaker that takes inspiration from the O.G. Spizike. The hybrid sneaker dropped nearly a decade ago and happens to be re-releasing this upcoming weekend, as well.
The "Spizike" VIs are laced with a striking varsity red on its tumbled leather upper and contrasting imagery on its collar lining that comes directly from the Air Jordan XX. Completing the Spizike theme are subtle green accents, while black hits on the tongue and heel tab round out the upper. In true Air Jordan retro form, there's also a translucent outsole that sits below the VI's solid white midsole.
You can cop these retro Jordans on Nike.com on Saturday, August 9, at 8 a.m. EST. Retail price will run you $170.
