Thanks to Kanye West's "Red Octobers," any sneaker with a predominantly red base will inevitably be compared to those coveted Yeezy IIs. While a majority of the comparisons are a reach, there are a few that are actually justified. Take for example this custom Jordan Future with a very literal take on the "Red October" inspiration.
Using the "Gym Red" Futures that recently dropped, sneaker customizer aristat26 painted the Air Jordan XI tooling red and took actual components from a "Red October" Yeezy. There's the Horus branding on the tongue, the midfoot strap, the leather lace lock, and the Yeezy II's unmistakable heel. Right now, this is just a 1-of-1 for one of aristat26's clients, but considering the Yeezy hype these days, don't be surprised if you see more of these popping up.
