So far this summer, we've seen the successful launch of two Nike KD VII colorways, in the form of the "USA" and most recently the "35,000 Degrees". Nike's got more tricks up it's sleeve as the KD VII "Global Game" is set to drop this weekend, in a colorway that's almost as hot as these brutal August days.

The hype around all red shoes may have died down slightly following the release of the "Red Octobers", but that may spark right back up with the KD VII "Global Game". The shoe pays homage to Durant's travels throughout his basketball career to such places as Asia, Europe, and obviously all across the US. The shoes not only represent KD's travels, but Nike's continuous effort to further push basketball as a global game and develop it in every country possible. The shoes comes in an all red look with a globe graphic on the tongue, and is finished off with a confetti design through the Swoosh to represent Durant's two gold medals and tournament MVP honors when he played for the USA team. Keep an eye out for these during the FIBA World Cup at the end of August, because chances are KD will lace them up for a game or two.

The Nike KD VII "Global Game" will be available August 2 at the Nike Store and other select retailers.
