While the LeBron 12 is still some time away from an official unveiling, Nike's been hard at work perfecting King James' secondary shoe, the LeBron Soldier 8.

The Nike LeBron Solder 8 comes off the heels of his previous Soldier model, which was his go to option on the court this year as the LeBron 11 failed to meet his performance expectations. We've seen several colorways surface already including a "USA" themed look, and the ever popular "Sprite" colorway, but today we have detailed shot's of an all red joint from Nike. The LeBron Soldier 8 still maintains the high ankle strap for support, but the Swoosh changed the outsole pattern from a traditional herringbone pattern to a diamond pattern to offer better traction on court. Flywire cables were incorporated for a locked down feel, which seems to be the norm for just about any Nike shoe these days, basketball or not.

No official word on when this all red colorway or any of the other LeBron Soldier 8's will hit retail, but we'll be sure to update as soon as it surfaces.
