It's been a busy summer for Nike when it comes to the Kobe 9, as seemingly everyday there's multiple new colorways that surface. Following the debut of the mid-cut Kobe 9 from today, we get a detailed look at one shoe on the top of many peoples wish list this summer, the Kobe 9 Elite Low "Beethoven".

Nike and Kobe drew inspiration from a rather odd place for the "Beethoven" colorway, as it pays homage of sorts to the mastery of the German composer and pianist’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor, otherwise known as the "Ninth Symphony". The shoe features a combination of Wolf Grey with white and blacked through the fully Flyknit upper, making the shoe lightweight and breathable. Nike's Flywire support was added in to offer users a greater amount of support and better fit, and is finished off with the Swoosh's other prized technologies including a carbon fiber heel counter, and Lunarlon cushioning. While we doubt many people who get their hands on these will actually hit the court in them, it's evident through the tech features that this Kobe 9 can hang with the best.

The Kobe 9 Elite Low "Beethoven" is scheduled to drop August 16 at the Nike Store.
