Last night's Major League Baseball All-Star Game has people talking the next day unlike any Midsummer Classic has in years. Whether it be Derek Jeter's All-Star sendoff or Adam Wainwright's controversial pitches, there was no shortage of news coming from Minnesota's Target Field last night. However, the story we are most interested in here at Sneaker Report is the barrage of fluorescent colored cleats worn by the players last night.

Traditionally, the All-Star Game is a time for the players to let loose from their team's restrictions regarding footwear. While the Captain went with a more conservative classic pair of custom white Jordan cleats, Uni watch's Paul Lukas points out that the rest of the field opted for a more neon approach.

The shoe of choice for most of the All-Stars seemed to be the Nike Lunar Vapor Trout, as players from both sides donned the day-glo colored spikes. All-Star Game MVP Mike Trout set the tone himself, by wearing a special "Rainbow Trout" edition of his signature cleats from Nike. Check out the gallery above and head over to Uni Watch to see all your fluorescent clad All-Stars from last night's game.
