For the months of August, Nike has tabbed ASP World Champion surfer Carissa Moore to bring her Beach Balance Workout to the Nike+ Training Club app.

The 15-minute workout contains five drills that target the core muscles that surfers depend on to catch some air and navigate turns. Included amongst the drills are resistance band body saws, bridge leg chops and side plank crunches.

“The moves are hard,” Moore admits. “But by the end of it, you feel great and you walk away knowing that you put your best effort forward. As you continue to do the workouts, you’ll see the results.”

Moore is currently ranked No. 1 in the ASP World Tour rankings after starting the 2014 season with two victories. Last year, Moore won her second career ASP World Championship after originally winning the title at just eighteen years old in 2011.

Moore's Beach Balance Workout launches on August 1 on the Nike+ Training Club App, which is free to download on iOS and Android. Moore's training look can also be purchased online.
