Rajon Rondo and the Celtics are looking for a bounce back year following their injury ridden season under new head coach Brad Stevens. Although Rondo's name has been circulated in trade talks for the last few months, his sneaker sponsor, Anta, fully expects his to remain with the Celtics as they just released his latest signature, the Rondo "9" in a hometown look.

The Anta Rondo "9" is the second signature shoe for the Celtics point guard following the Rondo 1 from last year. This year's model comes in a low cut, which is interesting considering Rondo's consistent ankle problems. The shoes come in three colorways to start, with the most standout being a black and green Celtic inspired version with Rondo's number 9 on the heel. By the looks of them, the Anta Rondo "9" is good for both indoor and outdoor use as the outsole pattern features deep multi-directional treads which provides traction on multiple surfaces.

Unfortunately, Anta products are currently only available in China, but the team at HiBasketball has you covered. Head over to their web shop for a chance to scoop up any of three new colorways while you still can.
