By now, many of you know about Converse and their launch of a new, sportier, Converse Weapon.
Any older NBA fan or sneakerhead will be able to recall or tell you about the original Converse Weapon campaign that featured longtime rivals Larry Bird of the Boston Celtics and Magic Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers. Magic's signature sneaker was the Lakers' colored Weapons which Converse pays homage to here. For those excited about these, we have some unfortunate news. According to sources at Converse, only 200 pairs of these will be available and will be used for seeding and promo purposes only. If you really want a pair of these Weapons, we hope you have the right connections. If not, pray Converse releases them down the road.
