The Game wasn't the one who rapped, "Dear summer, I know you gon miss me/For we've been together like Nike Airs and crisp Ts," but he's lived his life in the tune of those unforgettable Jay Z lyrics. In a #TBT Sneakerwatch video, the sneaker blog remembered when the rapper, who once had his own signature line of sneakers with Skechers, told them he has spent over $1M on sneakers and white Ts over the course of his career.
In the 2012 interview, He said, "I've got a million-dollar shoe collection," in which the "Chili" Nike Air Max 95s were the crown jewel of his sneaker collection.
But the real gem of the interview is when he recalls, "I've spent a million dollars on white Ts in my career."
"You know white Ts are like a fucking a napkin," he said. "Anything get on them shits, dust or shit, you take the motherfucker off and throw on a new one."
